Astrid Maria Maurice Nuyens Bryan Jr. (born 25 January 1983) Antwerp, Belgium is a singer, songwriter, musician, model[4] and television personality[2].
Early life
Bryan was born in Antwerp Belgium, and raised in a conservative Catholic family. Her father, Marc, a magistrate, is a lawyer in Belgium. She has one older brother, Laurens. At the age of 4, Astrid started playing violin and was soon accepted at the Music Academy of Antwerp [1] where she studied from 1987-1992. She attended primary school Sint- Ludgardisschool [2] and I.D.C.O. [3] in Antwerp. High school she attended I.D.C.O. studied Latin and Greek. Her last two years of High school she went to Boarding school in Wallonia the French part of Belgium Le Val Notre-Dame [4]

Modeling career
Started at the age of 17 ( 2000 ) She was signed with Dominique models in Belgium. In 2001 she became The "Elite model of Belgium" and had to present Belgium in the world competition in Nice France Elite Model Look[5] of the Year. As a result, Astrid traveled extensively throughout Europe, Asia, and the US on modeling assignments. She lived in Barcelona signed with Elite , Lisbon signed with Elite Model Management. Paris , London, Milan signed with Beatrice International Models, LA signed with LA Models [5] and NY signed with IMG Models Did fashion shows for Armani [6][7][8], Gucci , Blumarine , Ralph Lauren , John Richmond[9], Diesel, Gianfranco Ferré[10] , Stella McCartney …. many more. Did Several editorials for Vogue, Elle, Marie Claire , Riviera , Grazia , Anna , Madame Figaro , Lucky , Max , Knack, Cosmopolitan, P magazine [11][12] ... and many more. Business career
In 2000 Astrid became a fashion buyer for high end stores in Antwerp. She bought collections such as Helmut Lang, Alexander McQueen, Marc Jacobs, Lagerfeld Gallery, Viktor & Rolf, J.Lindeberg and many more. Astrid moved to Los Angeles in 2005 and joined The Watley Group, LLC [6] as a Member and shareholder in 2006. She became President in 2006 specializing in brand identification, brand strategy, and music. In 2008 she became Chairman of Watley Recordings.
Music career
In 2008 Astrid started working with legendary vocal coach Seth Riggs . She composed and co-wrote with producer Peter Rafelson on a few tracks : You Know I Would , Slip Away and Sympathy for the Devil. June 2008 Astrid started working with Rob Giles on her first album Taking Over that she co-wrote together with him. Taking Over is a melodic Classic rock album with a modern perspective and a touch of classical music. Her influences on her album are The Doors, Pearl Jam, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix,AC/DC [17], Black Sabbath, Life of Agony.Her violin teacher is Radu Pieptea[18].
