Giovanna Civetta is the author of the book Where the Wind Comes From. Where the Wind Comes From is the first published book ever written by her. Of course, there have been many unpublished manuscripts, but she felt that they were, "worthless and unusable."

She doesn't like to be pictured, which is why we only see her eye in the known photos of her. On her book's cover is an image of her own eye.

Early Life

Giovanna was born in Tuscany, Italy in 1991. At the age of 10 she and her family moved to East Virginia where they learned better English and started their new lives as Americans.

At the age of 13, Giovanna began to study the renaissance and she frequently attended renaissance faires all over the West Coast. She got excellent grades in history and English because of this passion.

As a young girl, Giovanna loved the book Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, which inspired her one and only book. She was said to be a very imaginative young girl.

Recently, she has moved back to Tuscany and she continues to live her life with great imagination.

Where the Wind Comes From (book)

Where the Wind Comes From is a short, two part story written by Giovanna Civetta, an unknown, unseen author of short stories.

In the story a young man named Joshua escapes the Titanic in his own, personal row boat. The current takes him to another land where he meets many strange characters. He tries to find his way back home and in the process he falls in love and wins a war.

In part two, 40 years later, Joshua's daughter, Maria Rose, accidentally ends up on the island only t find that the stories her father had told her as a child were all true. The land has been corrupted and she must fight to restore it. She, like her father, finds love on that land, but does she leave?
