Rapcore ist ein Subgenre des Rap Rock. Entstanden ist sie Anfang der 1980er-Jahren in den [[USA|Vereinigten Staaten]]. Anfangs war der Rapcore ein Underground-Genre, jedoch erreichten mehrere Bands aus dem Genre kommerziellen Erfolg.

== Geschichte ==
Die Geschichte des Rapcores lässt sich bis in den [[90er Jahre]]n verfolgen. Als Vorreiter gilt die Band [[Beastie Boys]], die ursprünglich [[Hardcore Punk]] spielten und anfingen sich mehr mit HipHop-Elementen zu beschäftigen. == Andere Spielweise ==
Eine andere aggressivere Spielweise des ''Rapcore'' ist der [[Crunkcore]]. In dieser werden werden ebenfalls HipHop mit Hardcore Punk gemischt. Der Unterschied zum Rapcore besteht darin, dass beim Crunkcore die Gesangspassagen [[Screaming|gescreamt]] bzw. [[Shouting|geshoutet]] wird während der Gesang beim Rapcore klar bleibt.
