<p>Init</p> <p><b>Neue Seite</b></p><div>&#039;&#039;&#039;Our Cabaña&#039;&#039;&#039; ist das größte der vier Weltzentren der [[World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts]] (WAGGGS), des Weltverbandes der [[Pfadfinder]]innen.<br /> <br /> == Geographie ==<br /> Das etwa auf 1500 Meter über Meer liegende Zentrum &#039;&#039;Our Cabaña&#039;&#039; liegt im mexikanischen Bundesstaat [[Morelos]], etwa 75 Kilometer von [[Mexiko-Stadt]] entfernt und etwa 3 Kilometer von [[Cuernavaca]] der Hauptstadt des Bundesstaates. Die Durchschnittstemperatur liegt zwischen 18 und 28 Grad Celsius.<br /> <br /> == Geschichte ==<br /> 1957 entstand das Zentrum in [[Lateinamerika]] als Ergänzung der bereits bestehenden Weltzentren. An den Einweihungfeierlichkeiten nahm [[Olave Baden-Powell]], die Mitbegründerin der WAGGGS und Ehefrau von [[Robert Baden-Powell]], persönlich teil. 1969 wurde das Zentrum erweitert und zusätzlich wurden zwei neue Unterkünfte sowie ein Saal geschaffen.<br /> Heute bietet Our Cabaña Platz für maximal 84 Teilnehmer.<br /> <br /> == Nutzung ==<br /> Das Zentrum steht ausschließlich Mitgliedern der WAGGGS zur Verfügung. Das angebotene Programm unterscheidet Aktivitäten für Jugendliche (13 bis 18 Jahre) und für Erwachsene (ab 18 Jahre). Die Jugendprogramme sollen länderübergreifende Freundschaften fördern und Jugendliche motivieren, internationale Pfadfindererfahrungen zu sammeln. Die Programme für Erwachsene behandeln spezielle Themen und vermitteln die [[Mexiko#Kultur|mexikanische Kultur]].
